Time's Up!

An article appeared recently in New Scientist that time travel will be a reality in 2008.

Two mathematicians, Irina Aref'eva and Igor Volovich associated with the Large Hadron Collider. Made the claim in the publication.

The Large Hadron Collider, Currently being built in Switzerland. This will be the worlds most powerful Atom-Smasher.

Atom-Smashers work by firing protons at each other at the speed of light, its so powerful it may rip a hole through space and time. If this theory is correct the resulting wormhole would allow visitors from the future to visit us in Year Zero. 2008 being Year Zero as it will be the first wormhole opened.

The home page of LHC (UK) is at http://www.lhc.ac.uk/

I came across the article whilst watching DeJa Vu starring Denzel Washington

Reminded me of so much of what we could do, and what the possibilities are for us.
